Requirements: • Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or IT related degree; Masters of Science (MS) preferred. • Experience – seventeen (17) years of combined experience in IT operations and sustainment, customer support for systems, applications, and operational services and a minimum of 7 years of experience in systems engineering. • Experience developing and maintaining complex systems that involved integrating COTS/GOTS and Open Source Technologies • Experience across numerous engineering disciplines • Experience with automated testing tools • Ability to identify technology gaps in current capabilities and processes • Experience performing software development for large scale government programs. • Experience with one or more of the following: J2EE, Ruby on Rails, Web 2.0, web server, application server, JIRA, Middleware, or Rational Unified Process, Systems Architect, and multiple database technologies, Data Access, protocols. • Experience in one of the following: Java (JDK/JVM), .Net, (J)Ruby, (J) Ruby on Rails, C/C++, XQuery, XLST, XPATH, JavaScript, and Libraries. • Identify limitations and restrictions for data processing projects. • High-degree of analytical and critical thinking skills. • Ability to work multiple, time-critical tasks. • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
