| WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES? Responsible for the support and deployment of software packages across multiple environments at redbox. Collaboration across many departments to deliver new software projects from development to production. Including on-call duties as well as off-time upgrades and maintenance. Must have ability to think quickly and respond diligently to on and off-duty alerts/issues. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: · Must have 8-10 years of IT experience · 3 years or more Tomcat configuration and administration · 3 years or more Apache configuration · 3 years or more Redhat Enterprise Linux · Must have some experience in supporting websites running on apache tomcat. · Mid-level Linux administration skills required · Experience and understating of the software testing life cycle · 2-3 years scripting in any of the following languages Shell, Perl, Power shell, VB script · 1+ year experience with SQL · BA/BS in CS, IT or other scientific/linguistic fields or equivalent development experience · Experience supporting REST/SOAP services in past work experience · Familiarity with SOA software architecture · Experience and understanding of Agile Methodology · Past experience working within change management procedures and compliance |
