Position: Front-End Developer   Location: Dallas TX   Type: 6 Months     Kindly Share Resume on akumar1@vui-inc.com       Job Description:   We’re looking for an experienced consulting or IT professional with a broad understanding of Front End Web development, industry best practices, performance and design considerations, and overall application implementation knowledge within the e-commerce field. Will operate independently and as part of a team to provide quality input and deliverables for client engagements.        Specific duties may include:   • Developing and maintaining code for the application user interface on web applications utilizing provided design comps, wireframe schematics, navigation strategies, detailed site maps and page-level interactions   • Work with the Java development team to create a clean xHTML/JSP page structure and architecture that allows for reuse and simplicity   • Works in a PHP environment to develop the HTML page structure and architecture that allows for reuse and simplicity   • Analyze, design, and propose new user interface concepts via prototypes, wireframes, and/or treatments using various technologies – XHTML, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.   • Implement UI designs using XHTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) into the web tier ensuring cross-browser compatibility   • Manage the complete UI project lifecycle working with project management to ensure integration of the web tier to the rest of the product architecture (business tier integration)   • Assist with web server configuration activities as they impact the site operation and performance   • Responsible for implementing effective search engine optimization techniques web statistic and analytic components       Requirements:   • 3-6+ years’ experience developing web-based applications preferably with experience with PHP and/or JSP   • Excellent understanding of existing and emerging W3C standards and its application in cross-browser development and support   • Experience in developing internationalized user-centric web designs that adopt leading practices in usability and can be implemented within a commercial product   • Familiar with Java and/or PHP development and its web architectures and design patterns   • Hands-on programming skills with XHTML, CSS, DHTML, DOM, HTTP JavaScript , Servlets, JSP, XML, XSL   • Experience with database applications (Oracle and SQL Server) and mySQL   • Proficiency with AJAX programming, JSON and Javascript libraries (jQuery, Prototype, script.aculo.us)   • Experience with FLEX and Macromedia Flash a big plus   • Proficiency in graphic design and photo editing skills using design tools such as Adobe’s Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and/or Fireworks   • Knowledge of search engine optimization and web analytics and statistics   • Networking knowledge and experience    • Relevant O/S knowledge (Linux/Unix and Windows)   • Organization/presentation skills   • Application Server (such as JBoss or Web Logic) experience   • Web Server (Apache and IIS) knowledge   --    Thanks & Regards,   Abhinav Kumar Mishra   Ventures Unlimited Inc.   309 Fellowship Road, East Gate Center, Suite 200|   Mount Laurel , New Jersey 08054|NJ License #:  CT0357900:    Direct: 856-552-0902 | Fax: 410-782-0324 | akumar1@vui-inc.com   Yahoo & Gtalk IM: abhinav.recruiting   A MBE Certified Company Web: http://www.vui-inc.com ...(More..)
