Contract Informatica Developer on the Cobalt Content MetaDoc team responsible for designing and developing the ETL solutions used for parsing and populating the metadata block used for enhancing online Search functionality.
Specific responsibilities/tasks include:
• Implement Informatica B2B and Power Center solutions, while following established best practices.
• Serve as mentor to internal developers in the area of Informatica and ETL
• Participate in the full life-cycle of software development; including analysis, design, implementation and testing of new projects and features using ETL solution and Informatica.
• Help tune overall ETL performance.
• Assist with installation, configuration, deployment, reporting and monitoring of Informatica.
• Identify process and technology practices related to ETL that can improve efficiency and add business value.
Skills required include:
• Specific, strong experience with designing, developing, tuning, installing and configuring Informatica B2B and Power Center.
• Experience with XML.
• Experience with relational database technologies (Oracle preferred).
• Optional experience tuning relational databases and PL/SQL for optimal performance
