Duration: 12 – 24 months+

Duties andResponsibilities:

This role is asenior role that intends to address the strategy associated with SAPPerformance as a whole. To be considered the qualified candidate must understandSAP performance across many modules and not just the administrative piece of it, as the strategy behind what functionality works and what will not work is acritical part of this initiative.

•Candidates needto understand how to collect performance metrics and use the tools within SAPto gather these metrics.

•SQL Tuning isnecessary (Oracle expertise would work too), not just a discovery of what isneeded, but feedback to the ABAP team on how to do it better.

•Tools knowledgemust include SAP’s toolset for deriving performance metrics. Must have bothfunctional and technical knowledge of the application

•The candidatewill need to be able to come up with performance solutions without actuallydeveloping in ABAP. They will need to be able to make recommendations withoutthe developer keys to ABAP.

Must be able todevelop ABAP through SAP.

•Ability to runSAP scans through batch programs – 98% of transactions at the client are batch

Minimum RequiredQualifications:

•1 – 2years/projects of in depth performance tuning. Candidate must know performancetuning inside and out

•Tools knowledgemust include SAP’s toolset for deriving performance metrics.

•Must know the Tcodes that affect performance tuning

•BASIS

•ABAP experience

•Tools knowledgemust include SAP’s toolset for deriving performance metrics;

Must have bothfunctional and technical knowledge of the application

•Functional,cross module knowledge of SAP

•Ability to runSAP scans through batch programs

•SAP crossfunctional knowledge includes SD, MM and FI

•Candidate musthave passion to break as well as fix things

PreferredQualifications:

•Knowledge ofRFC, Redwood, and Skipseam

Oracle databasetuning background would be helpful
