We have a personal interview set up for Thursday or Friday afternoon here in Nashville. It will be one face to face to hire.   Must Have: Minimum 5 years’ experience as a SQL Server DBA with SQL Server Database (2000, 2005, 2008, 2008 R2) platforms 3 years’ experience with SQL Server DBMS and DB monitoring and tuning 3+ years’ experience with server optimization and consolidation 3+ years’ experience with the Windows Server platform Experience with Data warehouse and Business Intelligence architecture. Experience with replicating software like Double Take etc. Experience with clustering and  mirroring Flexible and resilient in an ever changing environment Position requires some on-call, evening work when needed   Role: Ensure a stable, reliable, available and secure SQL Server database environment Ensure effective clustering and mirroring Analyze databases to recommend effective performance tuning strategies Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills Commitment to collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs Liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams Installs, configures, and provides ongoing administrative and technical support for database systems, including maintaining environment for program development, testing, user acceptance and production.
