Job Description:
- The person should have supported SAS/Unix platforms - software installation, unix batch scripting etc
- Should be aware of the infrastructure change management, incident management and service support
- Should possess good communication and customer interfacing skills Required Technical Knowledge and Experience 2 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in infrastructure solution delivery and support
- Experience scripting for platform support and automation using Perl, Power Shell
- Knowledge and experience supporting the following analytics technology suites: o SAS (BASE, STAT, GRAPH, OR, ETS, QC, Integration Technologies, Metadata Server, Workspace Manager, BI Server, Foundation Services, PC SAS) oR (Administration of client installation, shared UNIX platforms, and CRAN repositories) o Additional niche data mining and text mining software packages
- Knowledge and experience supporting UNIX platforms that connect to very large relational databases (Windows implementations considered as secondary experience).
- Prior experience as part of a large team to develop and deliver a large-scale analytics application that utilizes a data warehouse is a plus
- Teradata experience a plus
- Java web application support on JBoss a plus
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, MIS, or a Computer Science related field, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in the Insurance industry preferred
