Embedded Software Engineers Needed at Boston, MA & Houston TX

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer for Positions based out in Boston, MA & Houston TX

These are long term contracts .

Requirements:

- Prior experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded software to detailed requirements.

- BS in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Computer Engineering ( BSCE) or Computer Science

- High proficiency in C/C++

- Knowledge of communications standards, Ethernet

- Micro-controllers and Linux operating systems

Experience in Linux Software Development on the applications level and knowledge of POSIX api (essential), or Kernel level (desirable);
• Solid understanding of databases using SQLite (desirable)
• Experience using the Qt development platform (desirable)
• HTTP protocol, open source web servers, HTML format knowledge.

Understanding of Networking and TCP/IP protocols;
• Experience with SVN (desirable).
• Understanding of UML models, diagrams and UML tools;
