Lead Application Support Engineer (Application Support Team Leader DevOps Linux UNIX Windows Finance Banking) required by my banking client in London. You MUST have the following experience:
- Linux or UNIX systems administration (Red Hat, Solaris, Fedora, HP-UX, AIX etc)
- Windows Server
- Current application DevOps experience- application infrastructure administration
The following would be DESIRABLE:
- LAMP
- Banking or finance
- AWS or Azure
- Red Hat
- Team lead experience
- ITIL
Role: To be the DevOps/Application Support Lead for a team of 4/5 Linux and Windows systems administrators and applications engineers who maintain an application environment for almost 400 applications for over 2000 EMEA based users. You will be roughly 75:25 hands-on technical to managerial. You will operate as a technical escalation point and decision maker. You will represent the team in management and strategy meetings. You will lead and oversee application upgrades, new releases and the stream-lining of processes through automation. You will also be responsible for researching and perhaps leading a migration to AWS or Azure. You will be:

- Articulate with technical and non-technical colleagues
Salary: £60k - £80k + Bonus + 10% Pension
