Job Title : Veritas Netbackup Location: Redwood City , CA Experience Level: 5-8 Years Duration : 6 + Months Job Description : - 5+years experiance in Backup technologies Experience in Veritas netbackup version 6 and above Utilize and integrate backup monitoring software with all available client enterprise monitoring tools and resources.
- Management of backups conducted by MSA and third parties .
- Coordination of backup restorations Scheduling the backups based on the user requests .
- Management of backups conducted by MSA and third parties (Company included).
- Notification practices, processes and procedures as agreed with Company and in lieu of defined IT Operations Management processes.
- Re-execution of failed and incomplete backup jobs. Coordination, management and execution of backup restorations.
- Quarterly review to validate the entire backup architecture against the performance requirements of Company.
- Root cause analysis of the failed backups and providing the permanent fix.
- Analyzing the existing backup and restoration process and suggesting service improvements Preparing.
- Required Skills : Storage , Backup and Recovery , Storage Admin , Storage Admin , Platform Support , Infra Storage Administration , Infra Performance and Optimization.
- Essential Skills : Netapp Storage , EMC Storage
- Additional Skills : NetBackup Backup .
