Web Application Developer 2 Months with Extensions Florida Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the application development activities within an assigned region (office, district, etc.) in accordance with Department's application development standards;
• Provide District Application Support: Websites, SharePoint sites, and local applications;
• Act as a Functional Office Technical Liaison - meet with local functional offices to assess and recommend technology to assist in meeting their goals;
• Act as an Enterprise Application Liaison - work with the local users to identify their technology and application needs. Work with the Central Office Business Systems Support Office to meet those needs. Requirements:
• Experience in evaluating and resolving computer application and system problems;
• Experience in working with users to identify and document requirements for the maintenance or development of computer systems;
• Experience with newer ASP.NET technologies such as Web API, MVC, and SignalR;
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database Server, and DB2;
• Experience in coding with Visual Studio.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET and ASP.NET;
• Experience in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites and utilizing SharePoint Designer;
• Experience with source code management using SVN;
• Experience with PowerShell scripting;
• Knowledge of multimedia concepts;
• Skill in interpreting and communicating technical information both verbally and in writing;
• Experience in identifying and defining user needs and analyzing and designing computer programs, in accordance with the Department’s standards;
