Need Sr. Oracle DBA with BI Apps Experience

Role: Sr. Oracle DBA with BI Apps Experience Location : Washington, DC Duration : 12+ Months MUST HAVE 12+ YEARS EXPERIENCE  Required Experience/Skills 10 + years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, particularly supporting multi-terabyte enterprise data warehouses 10+ years working with Unix OS (preferably Redhat Linux) and shell scripting Experience with Oracle II G, Oracle RAC, and RMAN Extremely well-skilled in SQL coding, tuning and performance troubleshooting Experience with installing and configuring large-scale Oracle data warehouses Proactive DBA who takes pride in delivering a well-tuned and highly reliable database solution Excellent communications skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills are required Key Responsibilities Monitor and support Production, Test and Development environments Support code migrations, DDL changes, and data changes Develop, test, and support backup and recovery processes Refresh test and development environments as needed Apply and test Oracle patches and support upgrades of Oracle software Provide 24/7 production support on a rotating shift and assist with weekend implementations as needed Contribute to data management planning, development, implementation and maintenance Proactively monitor and address performance issues, including data load and data access performance Define and implement standard operating procedures around, but not limited to back-up and recovery, performance tuning, capacity planning, and disaster recovery Define, implement, and enforce database design standards Assist and support development team with development best practices Provide consultation in the design, implementation, and audit of new and complex data solutions Communicate existing and new features of Oracle to improve existing and new production development Must have’s: Someone who has experience working in an Oracle data warehousing environment Strong database tuning skills Knows how to tune a star schema data model Can work with BI developers and troubleshoot performance issues Proactive, excellent communication skills Nice to have: Someone who has worked on the backend of the Oracle BI Apps   --  Thanks & Regards, Raja AITA Consulting Services Inc 4-04,Towne Center Drive,North Brunswick,NJ 08902 Mobile No.732-658-5432 !
