NET Developer Lead Location: City of Richmond, VA Duration: 6 months Contract to hire In person interview a must. Duties: Manage the Finance Application Development team of 3-6 persons, overseeing projects, priorities, and resources; Manage the analysis, purchase, and development of computer applications, interfaces, and other technology needs; Serve as primary technology point-of-contact for approximately departments; Perform business technology planning with client departments; Provide reports as needed to the Applications Development Manager; Perform other tasks as assigned; Qualifications: 10+ years of experience developing computer systems; specifically, programming in a business/government environment (including experience with n-tier architecture) and following the Systems Development Life Cycle Waterfall methodology preferred; 4+ years of supervisory experience; 4+ years experience developing applications in .Net 2 to 3.5, Visual Studio 2005 to 2010, C#, ASP.Net 4+ years experience analyzing business processes and documenting requirements; 2+ years experience managing technical projects; Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Excellent time management skills; Ability to coordinate the work of diverse group of people across multiple departments to achieve goals; Proven leadership skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects; The candidate should possess bachelor level degree in information systems, computer science, mathematics, business administration or related field;
Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience with local government applications; Prior experience with financial systems;
