Senior Developer / Technical Consultant 

If you enjoy playing a lead technical role on digital projects and are experienced in building .NET web applications and websites then my client would like to hear from you. 

Summary 
*Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 
*Start date: Summer 2014 
*Remuneration: To £52k depending upon experience. Plus discretionary bonus of up to 10% 
*Hours: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday (35 hour working week) 
*Holiday: 31 days per year (including public holidays) 
*Pension: Up to 3% matched pension contribution 
*Training: Ongoing training and mentoring will be provided 
*Other benefits: Life assurance, childcare vouchers, cycle-to-work scheme, exam bonus, plus other benefits 

They need a talented and self-motivated senior developer or technical consultant who is highly experienced in delivering integrated digital solutions using web technologies on the Microsoft .NET stack. Ideally you will already be experienced in developing CMS or ecommerce driven solutions. 

Working within their technology team, your responsibilities will include: 

*Assisting in the planning, architecture and specification of digital solutions. 
*Liaising and meeting clients to gather and define requirements. 
*Developing web and mobile solutions, .NET applications, systems integration and software applications. 
*Co-ordinating other developers within the project team. 
*Managing the delivery of work within agreed timescales. 
*Estimating time and resource requirements for developing technical solutions. 
*Communicating with the project manager and project team over progress, issues and timescales. 

Experience Required: 

*You are highly self-motivated to deliver quality .NET solutions based on solid coding standards. 
*You have considerable experience of ASP.NET, C# and SQL and ideally MVC. 
*You are keen to explore and learn new technologies and methodologies. 
*You enjoy working closely with colleagues and external clients. 
*You have experience of system testing and documenting solutions. 
*You possess a solid understanding of the importance of software development processes and project life cycles. 
*You have strong communication skills.

Web Developer (.NET) - Permanent - Hertfordshire 

My client, an award winning agency that partner with household name clients to deliver work at the very forefront of the digital industry, are further expanding their talented technical development team and looking for another .NET web developer. An ideal role for someone who enjoys developing solutions and fixing issues using .NET, who is good at problem solving while being friendly and communicative. 
You'll be part of a friendly and enthusiastic team producing innovative work for some great clients. Among the rewards are a competitive salary, pension contributions, on-going training and other benefits.

*Start date: ASAP

You will be planning and implementing new functionality on leading websites as well as resolving technical issues on the websites of clients, all using .NET technologies. 

Reporting to the Head of Technical Support, your role will include: 
*Planning and implementing new functionality on websites. 
*Evaluating website issues and diagnosing solutions. 
*Providing technical support on websites. 
*Testing your code prior to deployment. 
*Communicating with clients before, during and after your work. 
*Documenting changes and updating our technical support management system. 
*Working solo and within a team of talented .NET developers. 

Who you are 

My client need someone who ticks the following boxes: 
*Self-motivated to deliver quality .NET solutions based on solid coding standards. 
*Strong experience of ASP.NET, C# and SQL. 
*Ideally (but not essential) has experience with a .NET CMS 
*Keen to explore and learn new technologies and methodologies. 
*Some experience of system testing and documenting solutions. 
*Enjoys working closely with colleagues and external clients.
