Title: SQL Server Developer to develop ETL routines for data conversion
Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
Duration: 6 months
Responsibilities: - Develop, test and deploy data transformations and data load as part of a data conversion effort.
- Assist with QA for processes developed.
- Create detailed deployment and support documents for packages developed.
- Work with Production Operations group to resolve issues, if any during production run of ETL packages.
Requirements - Must have strong experience in ETL development using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
- Experience in developing reusable code as part of data migration/conversion projects.
- Experience working with large data sets in ETL projects.
- Experience in ETL performance tuning /optimization.
- Experience identifying, researching, and resolving ETL issues.
- Experience with error handling in ETL projects.
- Strong SQL query-writing ability in a SQL Server database development..
- Windows batch scripting experience is a plus
- Any experience integrating with SAP and/or Salesforce.com is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Should be able to communicate issues and follow-up through resolution.
- Demonstrate sound analytical and skills.
