UNIX Systems Administrator
6+ month contract

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Day-to-day operations of the host systems and
data security infrastructure.
Provide leadership and technical support for UNIX operating system security, particularly in the area of access and privilege management
Design, plan, maintain and perform continual improvements to the corporate security systems.
Produce documentation to satisfy audit requirements for SOX and PCI certifications
Collect data and report security issues
Collaborate with technical peers to identify root cause of security issues and provide appropriate resolutions
Work directly with the business/application-side customers to remediate UNIX security issues
Shell coding and task automation
Design, install and maintain core infrastructure services, test disaster recovery plans.
Maintain network components for authentication and logging.
Work with SNMP & System Management tools and system management programming.
Document processes/procedures/changes.
Performance tuning and capacity planning.

Advanced switching administration.
Network defense administration, experience building secured networks.
