Job Title: Unix Admin.
Location: Chicago, IL.
Duration: 6+ Months.
Required skills:
In-depth knowledge of Network Security and System Security concepts.
Knowledge of Data Leak Protection tools (Websense, Blue Coat)
Experience with OSPF and BGP troubleshooting, QoS implementations.
Experience with Juniper ScreenOS and firewall technologies.
Advanced background in IDS, IDP and Application Layer Inspection protocols (Juniper, Cisco, SIM/SEM solutions, Linux Barnyard tools, AppDetective, Oracle security tools)
WAN/VPN Troubleshooting, IPSEC, SSLVPN, debug and administration.
Knowledge of Network Admission Control technologies (802.1X), Web Security Gateways.
Strong background in authentication protocols (LDAP, Kerberos, SAML, RADIUS, Two-Factor technologies).
Experience with Hypervisors such as VMWare, Redhat or Microsoft HyperV.
Working knowledge of identity databases (OpenLDAP or Active Directory).
Complete understanding of IP networking, name service, distributed computing environments, proxies, hosting architecture, middleware & content management systems.
Shell programming required. SNMP Programming, Perl or C coding experience a plus.
Experience handling security audit controls, professional writing experience for security reviews desired.
Desired IT industry certifications:
Redhat: RHCSS
Cisco: CCNP or CCDP
Security: SANS or CISSP
