Data Analyst

IMMEDIATE NEED - Data Analyst - Norcross GA - 6+ month   Job Title: Data Analyst Location: Norcross GA Duration: 6+ month   Responsibilities:  Develop and maintain a database of prospects and customers of our products in MySQL and/or MS Access.  Develop automated routines to acquire new data records (prospects) from outside systems like salesforce.com and CLIENT websites, as well as automated routines to maintain quality of existing records.  Maintain the quality of prospect records in the database via periodic automated/manual scrubbing of data – deleting duplicate/spam records, appending missing data with data available from other sources, etc.  Maintain opt-in and unsubscribe lists for our various email newsletters and promotional campaigns.  Pull segments from this prospect database and deliver contact lists to outside organizations via email or FTP in a variety of formats (Excel, CSV files, etc.) to support multi-channel marketing efforts (email, direct mail and call center campaigns).  Manually track down status and results of marketing campaigns thru sales to insure leads are being acted upon.  Develop effective metrics on the size and health of our prospect lists as well as results of marketing campaigns and report these to management on a regular (monthly) basis.   Education / Skills Required:  2+ years of experience with relational databases like MySQL, SQL Server and/or MS Access  Basic understanding/knowledge of programming languages, with PHP experience preferred.  Good analytical skills and knowledge of data manipulation tools and analysis techniques.
