Rate: £300 per day
Exciting opportunity for a Technical Author to join a Media Broadcaster based in Manchester. This role is to provide technical support in order to accelerate the production, and refinement of Information Security Standards, in particular those generated by third parties and in-house technical teams in support of the ISGC Governance and Compliance team's work. A broad infrastructure and technology background with an understanding of security management would be desirable.
Skills required:
·Proven track record of completing Information Security Standards and policy documentation for Industry and Government.
·In depth Knowledge of a wide range of Information Security Subjects and the Industry Standards, including ISO27001, required in order to protect data.
·Excellent knowledge of IT Service Continuity Management best practices including ITIL standards
·Attention to detail - ensuring accuracy, readability and completeness of documentation·Ability to produce clear and concise documentation
·Ability to understand the business drivers for Information Security
·Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
·Ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels of the corporation, and externally
·Ability to convey and explain complex technical information to non-technical staff
·Expected to organise own workload within the parameters and timescales set by management.
·Ability to manage multiple tasks and workstreams effectively and prioritise accordingly.
·Be able to work on own initiative with minimal supervision.
