Under general supervision, processes Purchase Orders against requisitions assigned in SAP. Reviews pricing for compliance with the contract. Transmits change orders to contractors for execution. Clears Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt issues on Purchase Orders. Issues Quality, Health, Safety and Environment surveys to prospective contractors. Maintains files and contract logs. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in an applicable discipline and a minimum of 3 years of related experience.

This position is responsible for supplier risk assessment, negotiating favorable commercial terms and monitoring contracts to drive improvements in regards to price compliance, contract utilization and on contract spend. As a Procurement Contract Specialist you will identify opportunities and assess current market situations. In addition to making contributions to the negotiation process, you will prepare contracts and agreements and coordinate with internal stakeholders.

  • Maintains files and contract logs

Skills are typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s Degree within Supply Chain Management, Procurement or related discipline and a minimum of 3 years of experience within Procurement and/or project management. Juris Doctorate Preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

  • Experience working within SAP or large ERP system preferred

  • Experience working within a contract management system preferred
