Location: Austin, TX Duration: 3-6 Months Job Description: The worker will perform complex business analysis to gather requirements, develop, write, maintain, monitor and review information technology policies and processes. The worker will review processes for alignment and compliance with existing policies and develop best practices and standards. The worker will participate in activities related to developing an IT governance framework, creating visibility and directing focus to issues, concerns and risks; and assist with IT strategy and planning activities. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Years Skills/Experience - Experience facilitating, overseeing and driving policy development, processes, procedures, work instructions and controls in support of CSD Information Technology (CSD-IT) business needs, internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Experience participating in developing, establishing and maintaining an IT governance strategy, initiatives, roadmap and project plans to assist with meeting business objectives and provide assurance that internal controls and processes meet best practices and audit requirements.
- Experience participating in establishing and implementing measures of performance and reports on the design and effectiveness of CSD-IT controls in compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Advanced skill in using a computer and Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and Project.
- Experience with technical systems and computer terminology; considerable skill in technical writing.
- Experience assisting with coordinating and monitoring project controls, special projects and communications to stakeholders.
- Advanced skill in effective verbal and written communications with other computer professionals and customers.
- Ability to analyze and problem solve.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and professional working relationships with others at all times in the course of conducting business
- Skill in planning and organizing work to meet goals and complete multiple assignments without compromising accuracy.
Preferences: Years Skills/Experience - Knowledge of and experience with Texas Child Support Program and Texas Child Support Enforcement System (TXCSES).
- Experience in compliance with State and Federal Regulatory / Statutory frameworks.
- Working knowledge of ITIL and COBIT 5 frameworks.
- Knowledge of governance, risk and internal controls documentation.
