1) position:
Mobile Developer (3-6 months+ - Boston, MA)
Works with the Marketing and ISD teams to assist in developing mobile sites and apps. Working in tandem with other developers, writers and graphic designers, the contractor will be responsible for all aspects of developing and maintaining the front end web presence.
Required Skills
Essential Functions (e.g., in order to be considered to perform this position, th e person must be able to perform essential duties and responsibilities listed below):
- Provide technical development of corporate mobile websites and apps.
- Provide technical support to Marketing, ISD and ot her teams.
- Responsible for updates and maintenance of current mobile platforms, keeping to company's standards.
- Facilitate and represent marketing on internal pro ject teams.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Experience/Education:
- Bachelor92s Degree in Computer Science or equival ent work experience.
- 8+ years of development experience
- Experience building and delivering mobile solution s and apps
- Solid demonstrated experience with Objective-C, Co coa Touch
- Examples of apps hosted on Apple store
- Solid experience with HTML 5 and web standards
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, C#, jQuery and ASP.NET MVC
- Experience developing to responsive web design
- Experience building and delivering a CMS
- Experience with Percussion CMS, a plus
- Experience building and delivering social media solutions
- Experience implementing WebTrends, a plus
- Agile and Scrum development team experience
Qualifications:
- Candidates will be asked to provide samples of wor k.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Experience working in cross-department teams.
2) Position:
Mobile UI Developer (2 months+ - Boston, MA)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Mobile User Interface Develo per that will design and build Mobile Software User Interfaces. The ideal candi date will have in-depth hands on experience in designing and implementing UI usi ng Java Script, HTML/DHTML, JQuery, Mobile JQuery, CSS, XML/XSL, Java Server Faces.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Technical Staff and Architect s to understand the system architecture
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members, project management, and business stakeholders
- Lead a mobile user interface development effort fr om conception to delivery phase
- Design mobile web page layouts and creation of sty le sheets and sketching of devices
- Ensure prompt and quality delivery of code and des ign artifacts
- Provide unit testing and support of developed applications
Qualifications:
- Software design and development experience with a minimum 5+ years of UI development
- Recent experience in designing and implementing UI using Java, JavaScript UI libraries - JQuery, AJAX, HTML / DHTML, and CSS technologies
- Solid knowledge of mobile web design, web page lay outs
- Proven ability to design and deliver high quality code on schedule that is unit tested to the highest standards
- Ability to work in a team environment, with a hand s-on, proactive attitude
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), specifically for us in mockups of mobile web/UX
