Position : Oracle DBA (Only GC ,EAD, USC) Location : DC, Washington Duration : 18+month(s) Start Date : ASAP Interview : Phone + F2F Job Description: Our client is look ing to hire a senior Oracle 10g/11g database administrator (DBA) to fulfill a critical position at one of its F ederal Government customers. The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Oracle DB A with a wide variety of experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise class relational database based systems at large commercial corporations or federal/local/state entities. Hired candidate will be requi red to perform backup, recovery, disaster recovery drills and performance tunin g activities for development and production environments of a very large Orac le 11g database. Specifically, the candidate must possess the following qualifications and experience: Must Have: 10+ years progressive Oracle DBA experience Oracle 11g RAC experience (RAC Administrator Certified Expert preferred) Oracle 11g OCP Oracle Data Guard experience, Active Data Guard i s a plus Experience supporting EMC Documentum environments Excellent oral and written communication skills Desirable: Experience working in the US federa l government sector Ask IT Consulting Inc.
