ITB Direct Client need   Job Title: Senior Functional Team Lead  – PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management Location : Burlington, NC Duration : until end of year (4 - 5 months) - possible extension through mid year 2013 Position Summary    Under general direction, serves as a Team Lead - Functional Project Manager, PeopleSoft Supply Chain Management, strategist and subject matter expert to ensure optimal use of delivered – PeopleSoft Financial System modules. The key responsibility of this role is to be a customer relationship manager for Financial business partners to provide advanced SME support to business system analysts and their management, develops strategy, and defines business requirements for complex solutions with an emphasis on leveraging delivered functionality with little to no customization.      The successful candidate in this role will also act as liaison between financial business partners, PeopleSoft developers and other Information Technology staff, clarifying requirements and performing technical quality assurance testing before customer delivery.   As a trusted advisor to the SCM, INVENTORY, PURCHASING Business partners, this position is responsible for formulating an enterprise context impact understanding of business requirements in order to accurately implement effective solutions with measurable process improvement results.       Key Responsibilities The Senior Information Systems Analyst will be responsible for executing the above responsibilities while adhering to IT department standards.      ·      Maintains strategic perspective on the operational impact of functional business requirements against existing and planned PeopleSoft Financial deployments and upgrades.  Performs detailed analysis of financial system requirements to understand business needs.   Assists Business Systems Analysts with the creation of functional specifications for PeopleSoft Financial technical development and enhancement.  Responsible for delivery of approved PeopleSoft Financial System requirements definition to Information Technology Development Team(s), including dependant systems impact analysis and requirements development coordination with affected user and development teams (including Partner Interfaces). Collaborates with Business Systems Analysts and Technical Development teammates to evaluate solution alternatives and influence recommended solution using delivered PeopleSoft Financial functionality balancing the optimal use of configuration and development.   ·      Assists in establishing PeopleSoft Financial system testing requirements and conducts system and integration tests to ensure application requirements are successfully met. Provides first level production support to Business Systems Analysts and assists with User Acceptance Tests. May function as technical project leader during PeopleSoft Financial System implementations, including hardware/software installation and user training. Includes assisting with project plan development as appropriate. Provides production issues resolution analysis and support on the PeopleSoft Application Support  Team. Coordinates with Business Systems Analysts to provide ad hoc reporting support in response to management and production support requests.  Attends PeopleSoft Financial Project Prioritization Meetings with users to discuss project progress and prioritize future projects in accordance with established PeopleSoft Financial implementation strategy. Maintains PeopleSoft Financial Systems professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to maintain certification/licensure, and/or keep abreast of latest trends in field of expertise.      MOST IMPORTANT FACTORS : Candidate needs to relocate to client site - no weekend travelers - Onsite availability 8 am to 5 pm - Monday to Friday is must. Command over english is must - to understand client discussions and to deliver same to team. Experience dealing with End client is must - this is a Client facing position. If client says 2 days for delivery it should be understood as 2 days and not 5 - 10 days.  Clear thought process is must.
