Immediate Need
for C++ Developer with Java
San Jose, CA
12+ Months
Qualifications:
•
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science is required and MSCS preferred.
•
8+ yrs of software development experience.
•
Experience building high volume, consumer facing, web applications.
•
Preferred experience developing secure transactional software products.
•
Strong Java, C++ skills are required with demonstrated ability to resolve
complex problems. Experience working with XML/XSL frameworks are
required.
•
Working knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS performance tuning and
query optimization or other will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
· Working
closely with Product Management, to identify product requirements, design
solutions.
· Driving
high-level and detailed technical design documents, and active participation in
design reviews.
· Providing
technical guidance and assistance to other software engineers.
· Implementation
of new features for the PayPal site using C++ and SQL in an Apache/Linux
environment.
· Maintenance
and enhancement of existing features.
· Employ
technical expertise in helping team members overcome technical problems.
· Participate
and become actively involved in team and companywide architecture discussions
Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones.
· The
ideal candidate has a strong understanding of relevant web protocols.
