Position: Sr. Systems Engineer (Face to Face Required) Duration: 6+ Months This is a hybrid role. Person needs to know Storage/SAN/VMware/AD/Exchange. (they are not looking for storage/SAN SME) Person needs to know and be very experienced in how server/storage/network interconnect. They need be experience in global enterprise infrastructure.
Core Competencies: B7 Excellent communications skills interacting with technical and executive level audien ces B7 8+ years implementing, monitoring and supporting the following technologies: Microso ft Windows Server (2003/2008), SQL Server (2005/2008), Active Directory, Excha nge Server (2003/2007/2010), VMware (ESX 3.x/4.x), Microsoft Clustering, SAN/NA S/DAS (EMC/NetApp/HP), Citrix (Presentation and Netscaler). B7 8+ years implementing and supporting CommVault and Backup Exec software utilized in the backup and restore processes B7 5+ years implementing, monitoring and supporting SAN based replication between regio nal dispersed data centers. B7 5+ years serving in a senior architecture design, implementation and support role. B7 3+ years experience supporting Linux and Sun Solaris platforms. B7 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager, Configurations Manager, and Service Manager B7 Expert knowledge of server hardware including implementation of HP based servers a nd chassis, this includes assembly and rack installation to include hardware troubleshooting and systems support. Additional Skills B7 4 year college degree (Bachelors of Arts (BA) or Bachelors of Science (BS)) required B7 Advanced Microsoft certification a plus B7 EMC/NetApp Storage certifications a plus B7 VMware certification a plus B7 Brocade certification a plus
