As a Web Application Firewall (WAF) Security Engineer,
you will be responsible for ecommerce software infrastructure
installation and integration with business applications
 including level II & III 24x7 support, support for
user acceptance and disaster recovery testing for
 intranet and Internet application platforms.
 Specific duties include software installation of
 Web Application Security in the form of a
 network appliance (Web Application Firewall),
J2EE Application Server, Content management,
web reporting, SSL certificates,
and AD developed software; participation in user testing;
identification of critical processes for monitoring;
 and providing 24x7 on-call support.


 Experience with Application Security, Firewall policies, and ethical hacking
  *   Minimum of 3 years experience with several of the following vendor software packages: Apache HTTP server, SunOne/iPlanet, IIS, Proxy servers, WebSphere,
WebLogic, and Tomcat. Specific experience must include installation, configuration, tuning, maintaining, and upgrading.
  *   Familiar with authentication products such as Netegrity Siteminder.
  *   Strong TCP/IP networking background including network load-balancers, firewalls, and DNS.
  *   3-7 years experience as a web hosting administrator with both Internet and Intranet application installation, deployment, and support experience with http/https
web servers using Microsoft IIS and J2EE application Servers such as Websphere and Weblogic.
  *   Strong understanding of underlying Unix/Linux/Windows Operating systems and ability to develop scripts for management, monitoring, and automation.
  *   Must be a customer service oriented team player with strong verbal/written communication and excellent problem solving skills.


- Administering and supporting multiple environments
- Troubleshooting problems and providing problem resolution
- On-Call support on a rotational basis.
- Interfacing with the Infrastructure and Operations groups
- Supporting the internal teams with
o General and Application specific configuration of devices.
o Escalation of vendor issues
o General technical support
- Performing/coordinating
o Deployment of new hardware devices
o DR Strategy and Testing
o Monitoring tools and processes
o Firmware/Code migrations
o Security and error handling processes
